Impromptu Community Garden Work Day – Saturday morning!

Our Community Garden Coordinator, Kim Densmore writes:

Companions,

There will be an impromptu community garden work day this upcoming Saturday, June 30th for anyone who is able to attend from 7am-10am. We know it has been EXTREMELY hot, and for this reason the meeting time is earlier. We need as many people as can come to help mow, weed eat, weed, and help with the mulching in between the rows project. We will be getting more mulch delivered soon. We are checking to see if we can get cardboard donated for between the rows to cover with mulch since the newspaper is not holding up. Please bring any tools you may have, mowers, weed eaters, shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, cardboard, and also maybe some vinegar and sprayers if you have it to try and kill the grass around our beds.
