Dr. Oz at 4p.m. today November 29th featured the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma in Tulsa and hungry in Tulsa and Oklahoma. He followed a family from Tulsa that is not making it and has to depend of the food pantry just to survive. Oklahoma is ranked in the top five states that children are not getting enough to eat.I’m glad Oklahoma is getting exposure. I’m just sad that we need it!
Also, we still delivery help on the 1st week of the month on Thursdays. And, we need help with picking up boxes at the food bank on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. It takes a van or truck at this point. We are serving 179 students now. Call or email me if you can help!
Blessings and thank you for all you do,
Melinda
