Holy Week and Easter plans

Companions

Saturday night for worship we will talk about dreams and vision for our community. We want to hear what your prayers for our community during Lent have brought to your mind and to your heart. We will talk about our dreams for new space to hold our ministry and our future.

All of this as we look towards resurrection at Easter.

If you are unable to attend, I hope you will email us your dreams and vision so we can share it.

If anyone wants to bring sandwiches or soup for dinner tomorrow night after worship, that would be most appreciated. Toney and I will be attending the fundraiser for Owasso Community Resources after worship.

Here is our Holy Week plan:

Friday, April 15th – 12:15 to 1:00 Melinda preaching at Journey to Easter at the Methodist Church
3:00 to 4:30 OpenPlace Breaking the Silence at Pizza Hut

Saturday, 16th – 10-2:00 Planting our Plot at the Community Garden
5- 7:00 Palm Saturday Worship and Dinner

Tuesday, 19th – 6-8:00 Hosting Committee on Ministry with Dinner (need everyone possible here)

Thursday, 21st – 6-6:45 Dinner at Panera
7-7:45 Maundy Thursday Communion

Friday, 22nd – 6-7:00 Good Friday Prayer Vigil

Saturday, 23rd No Service

Sunday, 24th 10-Noon Easter Service and Brunch at Wylie’s, 10701 S. 4120 Road in Oologah. The Wylies will provide coffee and tea. Pot luck suggestions: fresh fruit, breakfast casserole, bagels and cream cheese, ham, deviled eggs. IF you’d like to bring something for brunch, let Faith know what you are bringing.

I hope you will spend Holy Week with us in preparation for the New Life to Come – to each of us, to our community and to our world.
